About Our College:

The Management of S.V.Arts & Science College is of the opinion that infrastructural facilities are indispensable to produce brilliant software engineers. The management is whole heartedly committed towards providing excellent infrastructural facilities to its students. The campus includes well-planned administrative and, lecture theaters, computer center, filter water supply through Aqua guard systems and uninterrupted electric supply supported by Generator.

Mission :

The promoters established the institutions with laudable aims namely To maintain library with reference books to disseminate knowledge among the students in general and faculty members in particular. To develop educational standards through the latest methods of teaching. To conduct free medical camps for the poor and the weaker sections of the community and rehabilitation of flood, Cyclone ravaged community. To lender free education to economically, socially backward and minority students irrespective of caste, community and religion. To promote and encourage qualitative education. To conduct educational tours, seminars to widen their outlook.

The institution was established keeping in view achieving certain objectives which will benefit the society at large. To develop the institution keeping in view to meet the global needs of the society. To develop technocrats in the computer sector to meet the National and International challenges. To develop the skills of rural students in and around the Gudur town in particular and state in general. To develop competitive skills among the students to meet the present requirements of the fast developing dynamic society. To develop spoken and communication skills in English language by establishing English laboratory. To develop it as a mega institution by establishing different job - oriented courses like MBA, B.Pharmacy, B.Sc. (Nursing), lab technician courses and so on.

About Director : Prof. M.Ramakrishnan did M.Sc., in Mathematics in First Class
in 1991 and M.Phil, in Mathematics in 2001 from Madurai Kamaraj University,
Tamil Nadu. Later in the year 2005, he did his M.E., in Computer Science
and Engineering from Satyabhama deemed University, Chennai. He did his Ph.D.
in neural computing from Anna University. He put up 17 years of teaching
experience as an academician. He worked as a Lecturer in Mathematics in
M.G.R. Engineering College, Chennai during 01.8.1991 to 23.11.1997.
He served as Asst. Professor in Mathematics and Computer Science in
St. Joseph College of Engineering, Chennai. He acted as Professor and H.O.D.,
CSE and I.T. in Sri Venkateswara College of Engg. and Technology from
16.05.2003 to 15.06.2004. Subsequently he acted as a Professor and
H.O.D. and CSE IN Anand Institute of Higher Technology, Chennai
from 16.06.2004 to 01.07.2005. He served as Examination Coordinator
during the same period in this institute. He has also handled the classes
in the capacity of Prof. and H.O.D., CSE in VEL Technological Engg.
College, Chennai from 27.06.05 to 02.06.2006. At present he has been
acting as Director, in S.V.Arts & Science College, Gudur from 1.11.2006
onwards. He has contributed a no of articles at National and International
levels. He has guided more than 25 Projects for B.E., and B.Tech students.
He is instrumental in organizing guest lecturers in Rajiv Gandhi College of Engg.,
Chennai. He delivered a number of Guest Lecturers in various Engg. Colleges
in and around Metropoliton city of Chennai. He is coordinator for Association
CSE and I.T. and for National Level technical Symposium Test 2003 at SV set.
Presently he is working as Director of MCA at S.V.Arts & Science College, Gudur.


Faculty : Students at SVASC will be benefited from the institute's commitment
to provide high quality teaching. Teaching faculty consists of a combination of
young blood and mature experience.
